Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using QuickBlur ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

QuickBlur is a Chrome browser extension that applies visual blur effects to content on webpages. Blurring is performed locally in your browser using CSS filters. The Extension does not transmit page content to any server.

3. Free and Pro Plans

• Free plan: Available to all users at no cost. Includes all blur tools and the ability to save blurs for up to 1 page locally
• Pro plan: Paid subscription with unlimited saved pages and cloud sync across devices. Billed monthly or annually through Dodo Payments
• Features may change. We will provide reasonable notice before removing free features

4. Payments and Refunds

• Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record
• We offer a full refund within 7 days of any charge — email support@quickblur.pro
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods after the 7-day window

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use QuickBlur to:

• Circumvent security controls or access restrictions on websites
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Interfere with or disrupt websites or services
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Extension beyond what open-source licenses permit

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

QuickBlur is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Visual blurring using CSS filters does not prevent access to underlying DOM data by someone with browser developer tools. QuickBlur is a visual privacy tool for screen sharing and screenshots — it is not a data security or access control tool.

We do not guarantee that the Extension will work on all websites, particularly those with strict Content Security Policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickBlur and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

QuickBlur and its source code are owned by the creators. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. On termination, your right to use Pro features ceases and your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify Pro users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
